Did You Hear The One About John McCain And The Exxon Valdeez?

By: GARKO

The “100 years in Iraq Man” let Exxon off the hook for double hulled tanker requirements after history’s biggest oil spill
You're likely aware that the notorious Exxon Valdez case is back in the courtroom again. Yesterday, Exxon, the multi billion dollar PROFIT PER YEAR company asserted in front of the highest court in the land that it can not be required to pay $2.5 billion in restitution to Alaskans damaged by the spill. (That was half of what was originally assigned by lower courts, but Exxon in its total disregard for responsibility maintains it shouldn't have to pay even one cent. Yes, that’s true, they are going to bat for total exhoneration.)
It is, of course, arrogant and unethical to the extreme almost beyond confrontability for Exxon to be still in court all these years later trying to save their arse. But my outrage and disgust aren't particularly interesting. What might interest many more people is a fact you may not know about the Republican presidential candidate, John McCain.
Just four months after the Valdeez spill, Sen. George Mitchell offered up S.686, a measure concerning oil spills and liabilityy. Sen. Brock Adams then introduced an amendment (S.Amdt.669) requiring double hulls on all newly manufactured over 20,000 tons operating in U.S. waters. (Valdeez was a single-hull.)
Known Big Oil puppet Sen. John Breaux moved to table the amendment. When the vote was taken the amendment was indeed tabled, by only a slim 51-48 margin.
Guess who sided with Breaux and Exxon and the other oil corporations? You got it! : Straight Shootin', Special Interest Clobberin', Enviro-Maverick Songbird McCain!
Let me repeat: four months following what was the most horrendous environmental catastrophe in American history, McCain stood up for the oil companies and voted against requiring double hulled tankers.
To this day, Exxon is the only company that still employs single-hulled tankers to carry oil in and out of Alaska.
So consider that when you vote next November.
In the mean time, there is something you can do if you are environmentally conscious.

If the Water4Gas system can help your car or truck two times as much fuel and exhaust far less pollutants due to a cleaner burn ... that's a great benefit!
In addition to the environmental benefit, you will notice lower engine temperature - safeguards your environment and your vehicle's engine .
You will notice a calmer, quieter and much more natural engine & gearshifts.
and more...

WATER4GAS is providing information for a nominal fee which people can use in their garage or wherever to build a small device which instills hydrogen into the gas/air mixture that their car or truck runs on.
The process makes bite sized particles out of the ones that the system uses as fuel. Therefore the engine is able to use a lot more of the fuel.
With WATER4GAS you can minimumly expect to increase your gasoline performance by thirty to fifty percent or even more. Those particles must have been pretty "blankin'" huge in some systems before. But with W4G they are made usable so you can increase your gasoline performance.
It also helps reduce emissions significantly.
This information has been purchased by over 9000 people already and happy members number about 99%! So how about you?
